Lettering in Library

Requirements to Letter in Library:

Freshman to Senior Year

Must do #1, and pick two others to complete

1. Read 50 books not required by any class. Read at least 2 books from multiple genres at Two Rivers, including non-fiction and graphic novels. Keep a log of the books and get it approved by Mrs. Larson.

2. Visit at least 5 other libraries (public, private, university, in state, out of state). Bring back something from each library (calendar of events, bookmark, etc…) Keep a google doc list of the visits and the days you visited. Write a few words about what you liked/found interesting about each different library, etc...

3. Attend at least 5 literary events each year. Movies do not count. Author signings, poetry readings, plays do count. TeenLitCon does count. Keep a log of what you do.

4. Visit at least 5 independent bookstores. Google “independent books/ Twin Cities” to determine which bookstores you want to visit!  Keep a log of when you visited and what you found interesting or not interesting about the store (layout, organization, vibe, etc…)

5. Participate in four library events at Two Rivers High School Library (Library Club, TeenLitCon and interactive activities & bulletin boards count). Keep a log of what you do.
