INAUGRATION AND TREASURE HUNT:
The Institute of Science's Science Activity Club (ISSAC) became a significant club at the institution, promoting the merger of theoretical knowledge with real-world practices. Initiated on 3rd March 2023, the inauguration was graced by Mr. Tarun Shrivastava, the Senior Technical Director of the National Informatics Center, and other dignitaries like Dr. Sujata Deo (IQAC Coordinator), Dr. Madhavi Mardikar, Dr. Kalpana Nagle, and Dr. Nagesh Yemul. The club's coordinators for that year were Mr. Vedant Patil and Ms. Devashree Diwanji, supported by several active members including Rutu Pimplapure, Charupriya Rewatkar, Suraj Sharma, Sushant Rathod ,Sharvari Patil and others.
Treasure Hunt : Finding Jerri: Over 250 individuals attempted to decipher science-related clues scattered throughout the campus, pushing participants to apply their academic knowledge creatively. Team AVVAN stood out, triumphing by resolving all puzzles in a mere 70 minutes. Their swift problem-solving showcased their adept grasp over scientific principles
TREASURE HUNT ANSWERS:
ENFRAME(Scientific Photography Competition) :
A unique photography challenge that aimed at merging aesthetics with scientific phenomena. Participants captured raw forms of science in aesthetically pleasing ways. Among the numerous entries, photographs by Mandar Wadhai, Charupriya Rewatkar, and Pallavi Pohankar were distinguished, highlighting the beauty hidden in everyday science.

RUBE GOLDBERG MACHINE:
Held on 15th April 2023 and initiated by Chief Guest, Dr. Sandhya Dhabe (Head, Department of Statistics), this was a marvel of physics and mechanics, where intricate setups like dominoes of wooden blocks, stick bomb chain reactions, and pulley systems were assembled to create a domino effect of actions. Dr. Sandhya Dhabe initiated the event, which culminated in the announcement of the 'Enframe' winners. The demonstration was not only intellectually stimulating but also visually appealing.
GUEST LECTURE ON NET ZERO & CIRCULAR ECONOMY:
Held on 14th February 2025, the inaugural ceremony was followed by an insightful guest lecture on "Net Zero and Circular Economy," delivered by Mr. Manoj Kumar Panda, Project Manager at Raman Science Centre, Nagpur.The highlight of the event was the guest lecture by Mr. Manoj Kumar Panda, who provided a thought-provoking insight into sustainability with a focus on Net Zero and the Circular Economy. He elaborated on the pressing need to reduce carbon footprints, optimize resource utilization, and integrate sustainable practices into everyday life. He explained how transitioning to a Net Zero economy requires concerted efforts from individuals, industries, and governments to achieve a balance between carbon emissions and absorption.
Mr. Panda also shed light on the Circular Economy, an approach that promotes resource efficiency by reusing, recycling, and repurposing materials to minimize waste. He discussed real-world examples of companies and governments implementing circular economy principles to create a more sustainable future. The lecture served as an eye-opener for students, providing them with valuable knowledge about global environmental challenges and potential solutions.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where students eagerly engaged with Mr. Panda, seeking clarity on various aspects of sustainability, renewable energy, and waste management. Their enthusiasm reflected their commitment to understanding and implementing sustainable practices.
