On Monday 1st of December, we will hold a lobbying session (14:00-15:30). During lobby time, delegates collaborate with allies to create the Draft Resolutions that will be debated.
How to lobby:
Come into the session with a finished Working Paper.
Walk around the room looking for delegates from allied countries with similar visions on one of the issues.
Aim to form a bloc with +/- five delegates.
Collaborate by finding areas of similarity between your draft resolutions and negotiating on the differences.
Merge the best parts of your resolutions into one Draft Resolution.
Check the Draft Resolution for spelling and grammar, and that it follows all the resolution rules and guidelines.
Pick one delegate as the Main Submitter; this delegate wrote the majority of the clauses and will give a speech to present the resolution to the assembly. Label them as "Submitted by [Country]" and others as "Co-Submitters" with their countries.
Chairs must review and approve the draft resolution before it is uploaded.
Submit your final Draft Resolution to the Google Form below
The main submitter must visit the Approval Panel between 14:30 and 15:30.
At the Approval Panel, you work with Mr. Busby to review and correct the draft resolution. Once corrections are complete, the document is finalized and approved. Prepare to defend your resolution in debate!
