Located in Centum, Shinsegae Busan is the Guinness World Record's largest Department Store in the world. Imagine living in a city where you can visit this on a daily basis! Living in Busan offers you this opportunity. It is a world-class shopping hub not to be missed. It includes many leisure and entertainment facilities such as the traditional Korean Jimjilbang (Spa Land), an ice skating rink and a huge cinema, CGV too. There's also an outdoors theme park for children.
The Shinsegae Outlet in Busan is built in an Italian Tuscani style, and as you can see in the above image provides an aesthetic area for visitors to shop. It has numerous brands and has larger stores compared to those in the Department store, so there may be a bigger variety or products in the same brands at the Outlet. There are lovely places to dine when you get hungry too, although it does tend to get busy during the weekends, so try to avoid the busy hours.
If you live in Korea, you'll see the word "Lotte" written everywhere, from buildings to chocolate bars. Lotte is a huge company in Korea that has owns all kinds of businesses including Lotte Mart, Lotte Department Store, Lotte World, Lotte Hotel and many more. You'll be able to buy pretty much anything here, with great discounts too. What’s great about Lotte is that not only do they offer a selection of different brands but also all their house brands that branch over many snack brands (especially confectionaries) and goods.
Lotte outlet is a well organised, clean and easy-to-follow outlet that has great mid to high brands, although there are not as many to choose from compared to Lotte Department Store. Some stores have great discounts, although it depends on the time of the year.
If you're looking for fashionable clothes at a more affordable price, we highly recommend the Seomyun Underground Shopping Centre. It ranges between the Seomyeon and Bujeon metro stations and has a greater number of clothing and accessory shops that are relatively well priced (not brand stores) but with great quality. Make sure to check this out when you travel using the metro in Busan!
