Group work
Planning (Criterion A, strand i)
Use your phone to create a minimum of 100 photos (Criterion A, strand ii)
Edit photographs (name, resolution, size, and file format)
Task
Complete planning in your design portfolio (creating a timeline sheet with dates, tasks, props necessary to complete the filming)
Set a scene: location, lighting, objects to be moved, etc.
Stabilize your phone (use a trypod, of use other creative ways to do it)
Take a minumum of 100 photographs (each one to show different movement of your character)
Create a folder on your computer. Name it Stop-Motion-Animation (suggestion: use your name as the part of the folder's name)
Create a subfolder and name it Photographs
Download/transfer your photographs onto the Photographs folder
Edit images to reduce size and rename them (create a sequence)
You might create another folder to save these smaller images
In your design portfolio:
Criterion C: Create the solution
Stand i: Detailed logical plan (group work)
1. Create a timeline sheet and add the following information (for each filming day):
a) Date
b) What are you filming today?
c) Where are you filming? Who is in charge of arranging for the location's availability?
d) Who is taking part (actors)?
e) Who is a camera/director person?
f) What props do you need? Who is in charge of the props?
Stand ii: Technical skills (individual work)
Comment on skills you gained during this project (emphasis on how did you solve problems that you encounter along the way):
