Financial aid is money given or loaned to you to help pay for university, generally based on financial need. It can come from federal and state governments, or universities.

Scholarship is money given to you to help pay for university, generally based on merit. It can come from universities, or private organizations.

The availability of financial aid and scholarships for students will depend on where in the world they are applying. Other factors that can make a difference are student's passport, major of choice, residency, or academic qualifications. Below are a few links that may help students find funding - either internally at specific universities, or externally that can be applied to any program.
