Advanced Percussion Ensemble (7^th Grade, 8^th Grade): Students will become familiar and fluent with the more advanced rudiments of snare drum performance to prepare them for high school and college drumlines. They will learn all common pitches, unpitched, and world percussion instruments to enable them to play with and accompany concert bands and other ensembles. Finally, as a performance ensemble, students will learn the ensemble listening, playing and improvisation skills to make meaningful music with anyone and anything they come across.
