The following are the procedures for using mobile technology carts. As an overview, each cart is split between 2-3 rooms, is numbered, has a cart leader, and has a room where the cart is stored (found in bold on the chart). This information is all contained and accessible on the link below. Please star the link in your google drive so it is readily accessible.

1. See your cart leader for the keys to the cart.

2. 1st period teachers are to pick up as many Chromebooks as needed for the number of students attending in that day’s cohort (no more than 10). You are not taking the cart with you. Also, you should pick up 1 wipe for each Chromebook borrowed from the cart (box of wipes inside the cart). ONLY USE THE WIPES PROVIDED INSIDE THE CART AS THEY ARE SAFE FOR TECHNOLOGY. THE LARGER WIPES IN THE CLASSROOM ARE NOT SAFE FOR TECHNOLOGY. This is what the wipe looks like.

4. Students will fill out the attendance form during 1st period. They do not need to fill it out again during the rest of the school day. If a student comes in after 1st period, make sure to have them fill out the student attendance form. Below is the form for student attendance. Please star it in your google drive so you can easily find it. Have the students star it in their google drive as well.

5. During the last period of the school day the classroom is used, each student will be given 1 wipe to clean the Chromebook. There is extremely limited supply of these wipes and they are expensive. As such, the wipes will only be replenished based on that schedule (1 wipe per day/student/device). Please allow time near the end of the period for sanitizing.

6. The 7th period teacher or last period teacher in the room is responsible for returning the Chromebooks to the Chromebook cart and plugging them in to charge.

· Please have the students power off the Chromebooks when they are not in use to preserve battery power as they will be used throughout the course of the school day.
