Sports in SchoolBy Alpha Lai - November 14, 2021
After two years of boredom and us all being couch potatoes, KIS is reintegrating sports teams and entering interschool competitions for students to participate. Sports such as Basketball, Football, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball and many more.
In recent times, when KIS entered the interschool competitions, we have been very successful in the ISSFHK league, achieving GOLD in Basketball, Football and Badminton whilst also obtaining BRONZE for Ultimate Frisbee.
For this season, the basketball team for U-20 and U-16 has already had a match against SPCWY, ISF and Hoopstar.
The following poster shows all the sports YOU can join to hopefully win a medal for yourself and the school!
If you want to enter, all you need to do is tell the teacher in charge (in brackets on the poster) and join a training session for a tryout.

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
We are excited to let you know that the House Shirts are available! We apologise for the delay in getting this to your child earlier.
All students are required to have a house shirt for inter-house competitions that include Sports Day. The House Shirt can also be worn during PE lessons and is recognised as a part of the required school uniform.
Please see attachment (below) if you would like to see the designs.
Students should purchase the shirt that corresponds with their house team allocation. If students have forgotten or do not know which house they are in they may ask their form tutor or PE teacher or check the Student Information Board.
The shirts will cost $150 HKD per shirt, please bring a cheque payable to “Korean International School”
The house shirts will be sold at school during House Activity time! Priority will be given to new students.
- Y7 will be this FRIDAY (8/10)
- Y8-Y13 will be AFTER the half term break.
