What We Do

Careers Guidance isn't just about picking a job—it's woven into everything we do. We help students discover their strengths, build self-awareness, and develop the skills to set meaningful goals. When students understand their unique talents, they can create value for themselves and society.

Our Approach

Building Partnerships

We partner with parents, NGOs, businesses, industries, and educational institutions to deliver effective Careers Guidance. These connections expose students to diverse pathways—including vocational training—and ensure we support all learners, including non-Chinese speaking and students with special educational needs.

Continuous Learning

Our curriculum spirals through Lower Secondary (Years 7–9), building knowledge and skills progressively. Workshops extend this support into Year 10 and beyond.

Our goal is simple: help students find purpose and build the foundation for lifelong growth.

Entitlements

For Learners:

Personal Guidance: You have access to personalized support from counselors to discuss your interests, skills, and future pathways.
Career Exploration: You are entitled to learn about various career options and what skills are required for each, helping you make informed decisions about your future.
Skills Development: You will receive opportunities to develop essential skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving to name a few, which are vital for your future success.
Work Experience: You have the right to participate in work experience and volunteering opportunities that align with your career interests.
Pathway Planning: You can expect to receive guidance in reflecting on your academic results and aligning them with potential career pathways.
Apprenticeship Information: You will learn how to identify and apply for apprenticeship opportunities and be supported in your applications.

For Parents/Carers:

Involvement in Career Planning: You are encouraged to participate in discussions about your child’s career journey and explore options together.
Access to Resources: You will have access to resources and information that will help you support your child’s understanding of career pathways and skills development.
Updates on Progress: You will receive regular updates about your child’s career education program, helping you stay informed about their progress and opportunities.
Networking Opportunities: You are entitled to participate in school events that connect you with industry professionals and other parents to discuss career opportunities.
Feedback Mechanism: You can provide feedback on the school’s career guidance services, ensuring that they meet the needs of your child and the community.
