In Grades 11 – 12 students participate in the IB Diploma Programme. Students are offered a selection of higher level (HL) and standard level (SL) maths and science courses (including computer science) and they choose a combination of HL and SL courses that fits their educational goals. In addition to emphasising rigorous content knowledge, the DP also requires the students to undertake individual research in each of their subjects. This involves creating their own research question, designing a method to answer it, collecting and processing data, and evaluating and presenting the results. Thus the product is a significant piece of individual research. This research is assessed and counts towards their final mark. The students are also assessed via external written exams which are done in May of their final year.
