The TIDE technology and media curriculum engages students to design solutions with confidence through the application of technology systems, critical thinking, research and creative problem solving. Students acquire a deep knowledge and understanding of systems and information processes associated with digital solutions. The curriculum is designed to provide practical opportunities for students to use technology and media to transform ideas into sustainable solutions through the application of computational, design, systems and innovative thinking. The curriculum also encourages students to engage as decision-makers by considering different ways of interactions between digital systems, people, data and processes; while weighing the possible benefits and potential risks for society and the environment.
ISHR provides students opportunities to develop these concepts outside of the classroom.
