IB Diploma passing criteria: students must meet these requirements to qualify for the IB Diploma
Throughout the year, subjects will have classroom assessments that require a higher level of preparation (such as an end-of-unit test). No subject can issue more than one such assessment in any 1 cycle between reading weeks, and these should not last longer than one lesson. Approximately every fifth school week is a 'reading week', intended for students to catch up/work ahead and give them some space to focus on other tasks such as CAS or university applications. However, there may be times toward the end of Grade 11 and in Grade 12 where there is also component work submitted in that week, which would always take priority for students.
