Class Update:
December 8th - 12th: Math- This week we will continue working on counting money and then merging into the unit on time. Any additional practice at home with this would be helpful.
Language Arts/CKLA: Focus Is on spelling alternatives for vowel sounds, tricky spellings (like 'y'), and foundational grammar for persuasive writing, including singular/plural nouns (irregular too!), action/be verbs, capitalization, and punctuation. Students read a reader about kids finding summer jobs, learning about persuasion, synonyms, and antonyms, while building skills in reading decodable texts and understanding story elements like character and setting in the reader.
