Steck Staff teaches social emotional skills to all students.  We use an evidence and research based curriculum called Second Step. 

Social Emotional Learning increases students’ school success, decreases problem behaviors and promotes self regulation and overall social and emotional competence.  

Second Step focuses on building the following skills: 

-Empathy 

-Emotion Management 

-Problem Solving 

-Skills for Learning
