Our program is a scientifically research based literacy curriculum.
Authentic literature, high interest books, and collaborative learning will be used throughout to engage students in literacy tasks.
Learning opportunities in reading, written response, speaking, listening, and thinking are embedded in daily instruction.
Reading components include: phonological awareness, phonics, vocabulary, high frequency words, comprehension, and fluency.
Students will be taught in both whole and small groups to accommodate all reading abilities.
