Gene Van Dusen
Gene Van Dusen is currently teaching Science and Social Studies on Team 6-2. He is beginning his 28th year at Granger Middle School. He teaches Science on team 6-2. Mr. Van Dusen coaches: 8th grade girls volleyball, 7th grade boys’ basketball and 7th grade girls’ basketball. He attended Hill Middle School and graduated from Waubonsie Valley High School. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from North Central College. His wife, Jenny, teaches 4thth grade in Oswego. He has a daughter Lindsey who is a senior in college, a daughter Lauren who is a freshman in college, and a son Derek who is in 8th grade. He enjoys traveling with his family to Hilton Head South Carolina, and to the Florida beaches and amusement parks.
