Welcome to 2D!
Hey there 2nd Graders and 2D Families,
My name is Miss Dunning and I am SO excited to be your teacher! Here is a little bit about me:
I am from Naperville. I am the youngest of three kids-- one older sister and one older brother. I am what our district calls a "Grow Your Own" teacher! That is because I was fortunate enough to grow up in our school district. I went to Longwood, Granger, and Metea Valley. Finally, I went to Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI where I received an Early Childhood Elementary Education degree.
I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading a great book, decorating spaces, attending concerts, eating Italian food, going to the gym, and going to the movies (theater popcorn is my all time fave)!
This will be my 2nd year of my teaching journey at Brooks! I feel so lucky to be a part of the Brooks Tigers Family. I look forward to a wonderful year of growth, kindness, laughs, learning, and FUN!

This summer I spent the majority of my time nannying my older cousin's 3 adorable kids! They are 7 y/o, 3 y/o, and 1 y/o. We had lots of fun together... including making matching tie dye shirts!
My friends mean the world to me! These are girls I have known for over 12 years (woah... that's older than you!)
Last year, I went to my 6th Justin Bieber concert! If there is one thing to know about me outside of being a teacher... it's that I love the Biebs!!
