Ellie- How government is set up
Canada’s government is split up into three parts like ours, to pass laws and provide sources. The branches are legislative, executive and judicial, together they pass laws.
The Canadian government comes from the constitution. The representatives are elected to be part of the board.
The Judicial is the final test of all of the laws before they get processed, the executive proposes all of the laws.
The Canadian monarch is the head of everything. The Canadian Monarch is currently Queen Elizabeth II, The head of state is the Canadian monarch. The Canadian Monarch must approve everything
The executive consists of 3 parts: the Cabinet, the Canadian Monarch and the Head of State.
The Cabinet contains the Prime Minister witch is in charge of the Cabinet. The Ministers are usually the head of the government development.
Government has the power over society and individuals. Government is able to overrule and make rules for society- laws, Canada’s government is Democratic.
Canada has 3 levels of government- National, Municipal and Provincial. The Constitution has power over National and the the Provincial, The Municipal have powers that are granted to them. The National and the Provincial still have powers but under the Constitution.
The Canadian Government has a hard time controlling the economy. The government stayed the same while the economy was increasing drastically. The Canadian Government needed money so they decided to affect the economy to get the money that they needed. They fired, cut down paychecks, started shutting down businesses, they also shut down extra curricular, programs and activities in general. Just so they could get the money they needed to control the economy.
