Canada has a very big economy. It has a lot of minerals and resources. Some resources are iron ore, nickel, zinc, copper, gold, lead, rare earth elements, diamonds, silver, fish, timber, wildlife, coal, petroleum, natural gas and hydro power.
It’s major industries have changed over the years and is a exporter of energy and gas. The major industries once were fishing and forestry. Now the leading source of income is mineral and energy resources. It's also the 3rd largest exporter of natural gas. Canada works with U.S a lot and has most of its businesses with the U.S. Canada’s labor forces are in many different industries. Canada’s banks are very strong and have potential to be stronger.
