I believe I should be elected as the new CSS Secretary because I am organized, punctual, and excellent at taking notes. I take pride in my professionalism when it comes to writing emails and conducting business with others outside of school and have also demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities in the past.

I believe I am well-suited for the Secretary position because of my extensive experience with leading multiple CSS projects. As the current Head of Freshmen Leadership, I am familiar with most of the Secretary’s responsibilities, such as taking notes and attending meetings. Also, as someone who has managed over 40 Freshman Mentors, I would have no trouble overseeing CSS’ committees. Additionally, I possess strong organizational skills which are essential for a Secretary. My excellent communication skills would be used to report to the President and his Assistant, as well as coordinating with other members. Overall, my work as a CSS member has proven I can balance all of the Secretary’s duties. My commitment and focus to CSS would be further applied to this position.

I am qualified for the position of secretary because I have also been a secretary before for student council. I am also good at communicating with others and am also a good note taker. I am also a bit more familiar with everything that CSS does because I am involved in quite a few of its committees and programs.
