Outrwach Coordinators Blurbs
I believe I should be CSS Outreach Coordinator because, not only am I a part of the CSS Outreach Committee already, but I also have past marketing experience that could be beneficial to the position. Furthermore, I have demonstrated excellent collaboration skills and am familiar with what it takes to be a good leader.
Hi everyone, my name is Liana Ngo and I am current junior. I have been in css as a member and mentor to a group of freshmen. I am qualified for the position of Outreach coordinator because of my strong ability to connect with others and establish common ground. I have noticed a lack of connection between CSS and the overall student body and would love to contribute my experience in order to close the gap. To give background, I am the secretary for Key Club, a member of Debate Club, the financial advisor elect for ASB, 1 of 2 student representatives in our school’s Shared Decision Making Council, I established our school’s National Honor Society, and I volunteer at a hospice center while working part time. I am experienced in public speaking, teamwork, and am very outgoing. I am well connected with our school in all grade levels and can act as a great liaison between the student body, faculty, ASB, and CSS. I recognize the importance of organization and being Head of Outreach will be a priority for me if elected. I am excited to contribute to the growth of CSS and look forward to next year.
Hello IPoly! I am Jessica Pasaribu, a sophomore running to be your next Outreach Committee head. You should vote for me as I have the practical skills and passion fit for this position. At my last school, I was a freshman representative for my school’s UNICEF club to bring in new members so I know a thing or two about promoting, from posts on Instagram, emails to students, and paper flyers, in case we return to in-person school in the future. When I transferred to IPoly, I knew almost nobody and it was especially hard to make friends since everything was remote. However, I learned about CSS events promoted by the members and Outreach Committee, and I was able to meet and make new friends by attending those events. I wish to continue the great work of the Outreach Committee of reminding others at IPoly who are in the lonely position I was in before that CSS is always there for them to turn it.
