Group of students Science 4 girls 20-21
We are a group of seven 3rd ESO students from the Institut de Vilafant. From the beginning of the course we are participating in a European project called Erasmus +, specifically, Science 4 Girls. The aim of this project is to carry out different activities and share them with other students from different European countries, in order to share how climate change is affecting us. From Vilafant, we will put our grain of sand, studying and analyzing the characteristics of the river of our municipality: the Manol. At the moment, we are in the first phase of the project. So far we have observed some characteristics of the Manol river, such as: the pH of the water, the flora, the fauna… and we have taken samples to be able to study the water of the river in the laboratory of our institute. We have also set up an aquarium with water from the Manol River in order to put river fish in it and to be able to analyze different variables, such as temperature variations, and to be able to study the impact on fish. The aquarium will help us know how fish would react to possible climate change.

Group of students Science 4 girls 21-22
We're an Erasmus+ group of 12 students from Ins Vilafant. We're studying 3 ESO, and we are passionate about science. We wanted to join this project because we're curious about pollution, climate change, etc....and how all of this affect our territory (Alt Empordà).
The main objectives are to know the pollution of the air, fauna, flora, and natural disasters through statistics and laboratory practices.
Our class separed in three different groups, one group do fauna and flora, another group do climatic disasters and the other group do air pollution.
