Unit 2: My Food Environment
Students explore the relationship between food and culture in their local food environment. They discuss how culture, nutrition, cost, and geography influence what people eat. Students evaluate the accessibility of healthy, local food options. They create a community food environment guide and suggest ways to increase access to healthy food for all.
In our class, one of the groups decided to do a map searching in our city some restaurants and shops that are vegan or are trying to help the environment of the planet.

In unit 2 we did an interactive map with group about sustainable supermarkets and shops. We did a genially to learn the different shops and supermarkets of our city that promote sustainable food.
In this unit we created a map with the app "My Maps" from Google, in this map we included different sustainable and ecological restaurants and shops around our neighborhood where you can find healthy food.
