LLIÇÀ PRESENTATION AND TOUR

The first day that the foreign students arrived we made a kind of presentation, they showed us their high schools and towns were like, we did the same. Afterwards, the high school el Vern invited the students and teachers who participated in the ERAMUS+ project to a breakfast at the canine. Finally we went to the town hall. There the mayor introduced us to some topics and ideas. They gave us some homemade chocolate made in the village. After that the students and teachers had some free time in the village square.

On that afternoon we all went to do a trip in Lliçà. We knew the most important and emblematic places of the town. Previously the students of 4th grade of Lliça did a turist guide with the izi travel app.

CULTURAL BARCELONA AND CAMP NOU MUSEUM

And now we are going to explain how the longest (and tiring) activity was.

We arrived early in the morning and quickly got on the buses that took us to Barcelona.

Upon arrival they left us in the Ciutadella park, from there the teachers gave the students some envelopes with a clue about a place that we had previously been worked on in the history class. From then on we split up into groups and we started doing the gymkhana. As we arrived at the sites and did the tests, the teachers sent more clues from the telegram platform.

When we finished we all met together in the Born market and they gave us free time in Catalunya Square. Some ate in bars and restaurants and others brought food from home.

After lunch the foreign students went on a tour of Barcelona, the Vern students did an English activity related to the most emblematic buildings on Gracia Street and another related to the Catalan novel "La Plaça del Diamant" by Merce Rodoreda. Then the students who did not participate in the ERAMUS+ project returned to Lliçà de Vall. Those of us who did participate in the project and the foreign students took the bus and took a tour of the famous soccer field, El Camp Nou.

STEAM ACTIVITES

On the last day of the week, Friday, we did a series of activities related to STEAM in class. Three to be exact.

The one that the students liked the most, "El pantògraf". This belonged to the EPViA subject, we had to create a panograph with poriexpan and then recreate a scale drawing of one that we had previously printed.

Then we created a custom bookmark, but it had to have representation of the ERAMUS project. We did this with the SketchUp app. This app allows all users to easily model their projects in 3D using a wide variety of tools. Therefore, we can draw lines, arcs, shapes and all kinds of objects directly from the interface. Then some bookmarks were printed on our 3D printer.

Finally we work technology with the Arduino app. This allows us to learn to make electric circuits work. It had a base, bulbs and cables.

CATALAN FOLKLORE

This event was especially celebrated for the students and teachers from Portugal, Romania, Serbia and Poland, but everyone was invited to enjoy this demonstration of what the typical Catalan celebrations are like.

We started with a snack, cake and sandwiches. Then "Els gegants" arrived, they danced and the musicians played background music. Then they did the typical "Ball de Gitanes". "Els dimonis" entered with sparks and fire. Some of our teachers and students participated. To close the festival they launched some beautiful fireworks. We all had a great time, and we are very grateful to all those who made this experience possible!

DINNER AT THE VILLAGE

After a long Friday, of STEAM activities and the afternoon celebration, many students decided to go to dinner in the bars of the square with traditional Spanish food, such as tapas and sandwiches with the most delicious cold meat from here.

GALLECS

On Monday we did a route through the area of Gallecs, a natural park located in the Vallès Oriental.

We split into two groups and got together for breakfast.

As we walked through the forest and the meadow, the guides gave us definitions and explained curiosities about the flora and fauna of the environment apart from explaining things about the space and the constructions that we found.

It was a very entertaining but at the same time it was such a exhausting day. It was useful to us to make group cohesion. It was useful for foreign students to learn more about the countryside and Catalan nature.
