What i did
In my composition titled "What the flip" i used a bunch of different soundtracks that my classmates chose for me to use in this piece. i made sure to pan tracks correctly, equalize beats that needed it and played with the volume level of different aspects to make it unique.

What i learned
During the time i worked on "what the flip" i learned how to make the best of a bad situation, i recieved a relatively good combination of beats when i had an offal synth mix. I learned how to volume it down and work with what i had so that things were not clashing together.
What i did
In "Pounding Tinnitus" I wanted to go for a really heavy rock tone and so i went through the samples and used what i found that went together well. The guitar bass and drums line up perfectly with the sequence pattern.

What i learned
What i learned from this project was that you can never truly master mixing. I found it hard to see what to change at times and sifting through Eq's and tones i felt i had a pretty good mix.
What i did
In Wind the Chimes i Started off by taking this chime sounding instrument that i really liked and spent some time developing a melody. After that is when i started adding drum patterns and other supporting bits of music to the overall composition.Â

What i learned
What i learned from this project was that sometimes when you are having a hard time starting a project in music you just need to keep looking for different sounds and find which ones you like to start with. I also learned how to match sounds together and how to use a different arrangement view in Ableton live 11 to make music.
