Jimi Hendrix is one of the greatest guitar players of all time. His contributions to the guitar community will forever be remembered along with his amazing technique. "Little Wing", "Hey Joe", and "Castles Made of Sand" are my favorite songs by him.
Stevie Ray Vaughan is hands down the greatest texas blues player. He took what B.B. King, Muddy Waters and Hendrix were doing and combined it into Texas Blues. "Pride and Joy" and "The Sky is Crying" are my favorite songs by him.
The Stones have produced so many amazing songs that will be remembered forever. They started out as a blues band and as time passed they grew into a rock band with blues roots. Some of my favorite songs are "She's A Rainbow," "Sympathy for the Devil," and "Waiting on a Friend."
The Grateful Dead were heavily influenced by the blues but made a completely different sound. They showed the world a new type of music, whether they were on acid or not. The art that goes along with their music is so inspiring to me. My favorite songs by them are "Mr. Charlie," and "Touch of Grey."
Nas is one of my favorite rappers of all time. His beats are awesome and his flow is so smooth. His influence on the rap game is so significant. Some of my favorite songs are "The World is Yours," and "Represent."
MF DOOM was the last of the 90's rap game. His first album dropped in '99 and he always incorporated this 90's era style with his immaculate flow. My favorite songs by him are "Beef Rap," "One Beer," and "Rhinestone Cowboy."
Tylers lyrics and tracks are some of the most random things ever, and I love it. They are like nothing else yet his storytelling is amazing. Some of my favorite songs are "She" and "RUNNING OUT OF TIME." I also loved him when he was in Odd Future.
Mac Miller is one of my biggest influences. Hid Jazz inspired chords and backing tracks pair perfectly with his lyrics about love. Mac was also one of the nicest people and never had anything mean to say to anyone. Some of my favorite tracks include "Nikes on my feet" and "Senior Skip Day."
