Come to the Los Peñasquitos Ranch House and learn about the special relationship between flowers and pollinators. This 45 minute presentation includes an interactive bee pollination simulation, parts of a flower activity, and a pollinator song that everyone can sing along to. After the program and a quick break, we will explore the trails and orchard looking for pollinators and the plants that rely on them. The hour-long hike concludes with a visit to our chickens and goats because many creatures, including us, benefit from this special relationship! RSVP here. RSVP here.

Panera, 4S Ranch - 10430 Craftsman Way, San Diego

In this fun-filled culinary experience, your child will put on their own cotton baking hat and apron, observe a baker’s demonstration of three of our favorite baked goods, take a tour of our back of house, sample from our clean kid’s menu and even decorate a cookie with tips from our baker. This is only for students ages 5-10. This is not a drop-off event. You will be emailed a Panera waiver that needs to be printed and filled out to bring with you to the event. No child will be able to participate without the waiver. RSVP here.

May the Force Be With You as you embark on the exciting adventure of CAASPP test prep! There will be a Caaspp test scavenger hunt, hands-on games, activities, and prizes to ignite the force within you. Our Mobile Lending Library and Usborne Books will also be on site to meet your resource needs. This event is appropriate for Jedi’s and droids in grades 3rd-8th specifically but younger siblings are welcome to join and enjoy activities for their age as well. RSVP here.
