Summer 1
We are delighted to welcome all children and families back to school following the Spring break. It is wonderful to see the children returning with such renewed focus and energy as we begin the Summer term. Teachers have prepared an engaging curriculum for the term, with plenty of enriching experiences and activities.

We approach homework as a means to reinforce learning in the classroom, with a key focus on nurturing the joy of reading. We encourage families to ensure children are reading for pleasure every day. Reading is the single most important activity you can do at home with your child. In addition, we ask that you support your child to practise essential skills which are fundamental to their learning, including arithmetic, multiplication tables and phonics for younger children.
To further support and consolidate your child's learning, we also provide access to a menu of online learning platforms. These resources are designed not only to reinforce the concepts and skills taught in class, such as handwriting practise, but also to allow children to explore different areas of interest that link to our curriculum. Utilising these platforms at home offers a dynamic and digital way for your child to deepen their understanding, practise key skills, and discover subjects in greater depth, all at their own pace.
