In order to end 4ESO on a high note, this final project attempts to make you laugh and at the same time dispel the role of humour in life.
These are some of the questions we will explore:
Do you have a sense of humour?
Can you tell and understand jokes in English?
What are your preferred types of humour?
Is humour necessary? Does it have any benefits?
Are there limits to humour?
In order to find out the answer to these questions we'll carry out many accountable activities that will lead up to two FINAL PRODUCTS:
BYE BYE ESO: A funny short act in groups for all 4ESO students. A light-hearted class farewell performance (assessment)
An opinion essay: Is humour necessary? Here is a template to develoop a critical analysis with arguments you have learnt throughout the project with co-evaluation (rubric assessment)
Social Media: The best resulting products in the project will be posted on the school Social Media (instagram, youtube, school TV, school web...) as well as jokes and memes you chose in class.
Follow-up: If time allows, this project is carried out at the same time with other schools and end products can be shared on a Fun Festival in one of the schools.
