A2-B1 LEVEL
A role model for me is my little brother. His name is Joan. He is 11 years old and he's in 6th year in primary school in our town.
He has a physical disability. He loves playing sports and doesn't like to be quiet at home. His favourite moment of the day is when he walks our dog out, Piga. They are close friends and they always sleep together. My brother didn't speak well when he was little and had to learn with speech therapy, but now he communicates better and is more confident. He is courageous, brave and cheerful, even though he sometimes feels exhausted. Plus, he is always smiling and lifting everyone's spirits.
I look up to him and he is my hero because he fights everyday to have an ordinary life although he struggles more than most people.
B2-C1 LEVEL
A role model for me is my younger brother, Joan. He is 11 years old and currently in his final year of primary school. Despite his young age, he has already faced more challenges than most people, as he was born with a physical disability.
What stands out the most about Joan is his boundless energy and love for sports. He is always on the move and never one to sit still at home. One of his favourite activities is taking our dog, Piga, for a walk. They share a special bond and even sleep together at night.
As a child, Joan struggled with speech, which required years of speech therapy. Today, however, he speaks more fluently and has gained confidence in expressing himself. His courage, positivity, and resilience are truly inspiring, even on the days when he feels tired or overwhelmed. He never lets his challenges get the best of him and continues to greet each day with a smile, lifting the spirits of everyone around him.
I admire Joan deeply because, despite his struggles, he strives every day to live a normal life. He is, without a doubt, my hero and a constant source of inspiration.
