Too often, Black women educational leaders are expected to navigate complex decisions, increasing responsibilities, and constant expectations without the support, strategy, or community they deserve. The Leadership Lounge Collective was created to provide a place where leadership development and authentic community exist together—so you can grow with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

For more than 30 years, I've had the privilege of serving in education as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, district leader, mentor, and leadership coach. Throughout that journey, I've witnessed both the extraordinary impact and the unique challenges Black women educational leaders experience.
I created the Leadership Lounge Collective because I believe Black women educational leaders deserve a place where they can grow professionally, lead authentically, and be fully supported by a community that understands both the responsibility and the reality of leadership.

It's both.
The Leadership Lounge Collective combines leadership development, professional coaching, guided reflection, and authentic community. You'll gain practical leadership strategies while also receiving coaching, engaging in meaningful conversations, and learning alongside other Black women educational leaders who understand your journey.
How long are the sessions?
How long are the sessions?
The Leadership Lounge Collective meets once a week for eight weeks, with each live online session lasting 90 minutes.
Each session is intentionally designed to provide meaningful coaching, practical leadership development, guided reflection, and authentic conversation—while respecting the demands of your leadership role.
Do I have to attend live?
Do I have to attend live?
Live participation is strongly encouraged because much of the learning happens through coaching, discussion, and connection with the women in your cohort.
We understand that life happens, but attending live will allow you to receive the greatest benefit from the experience and contribute to the growth of the community.

Yes.
Session recordings will be available for participants who need to review a lesson or occasionally miss a meeting. However, because the Leadership Lounge Collective is built around live interaction, coaching, and community, recordings are provided as a resource, but the greatest value comes from participating live with your cohort.

The Leadership Lounge Collective is intentionally designed as a small, high-touch experience rather than a large training program.
The application process helps ensure that each participant is ready to fully engage, contribute to the community, and benefit from the experience. It also allows us to build cohorts where women can genuinely support and learn from one another.
What happens after I submit my application?
What happens after I submit my application?
After you submit your application, you'll receive a confirmation email letting you know it has been received.
Applications are reviewed carefully, and selected applicants will receive an invitation to join the cohort along with enrollment and payment instructions. Once enrolled, you'll receive a welcome email, program materials, and everything you need to prepare for our first session.
