How to you Calculate the Distance of Cabling & Conduit?
There is a feature that allows you to account for the approximate distance of various types of paths/routes according to the scale of the floor plan. Using this will allow you to come up with an estimate of the amount of materials you need for a project.

1) Access your Drawing

Start by opening the OneSurvey app on your device. Locate and select your project, then navigate to your desired drawing.

Once the drawing has been opened, select or drag & drop an icon. Utilize the right hand tools to create a new path leading from that icon.

Selecting the +"PATH" button will bring up a new menu that allows you to edit the new path. Click "+LINE" to add new sections.

Simply click the end of a path and drag it to the desired location, similar to how you would with an icon. If your drawing is scaled correctly, you will be able to get a very close approximation of the distance.

In the left tool bar, click the settings button then select the "ROUTE DATA" button to see a list of all path in the drawing.

Route data will display estimated total distance, and allow you to account for slack and height. tap the Adjustment box on the far right and input the distance to add per line to factor into the estimated total. You also have the option to manually input the price per unit.
