During the workshop, there will be a time slot dedicated to student contributions. The interested participants are required to submit an extended abstract (2 pages maximum) related to the workshop's topics of interest. The manuscript should use the IEEE RAS two-column template and a PDF copy needs to be submitted via e-mail using the following e-mail address: hassistance2019-at-gmail.com

All submissions will be reviewed using a single-blind review process. The poster contributions will first be presented as flash-talks in dedicated teaser sessions (up to 5 minutes), followed by the poster presentation at the end of each session. Hands-on demos are also encouraged.

A Best Workshop Contribution Award will be presented to one poster discussed at the WS and selected by the Organizers .

• Planning algorithms specifically designed for blind people in different environments and walking conditions;

• User’s point of view and accessibility evaluation.
