Organizers

This Workshop is supported by the MIT-UNIPI project "Haptic Assistance in Autonomous Walking for Visually Impaired People".

This workshop has been organized within the seed collaborative project between the University of Pisa (UNIPI) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on haptic-based assistance of visually impaired people for autonomous navigation. Among the objectives of the project there is the promotion of the collaboration and a thorough involvement of PhD students from the two institutions, within the research activities. The organizers of the workshop are the students officially involved in the collaborative project, together with their tutors, which will provide support and guarantee the quality and the success of the workshop.
