With the new subscription plans introduced in DMM v9.0.0 (Online mode) and v9.2.0 (Offline mode), an additional screen now appears before the instructions start running.
After the Final Configuration screen, you’ll see the new Validation & Subscription Check screen.
On this screen, you can click Validate Subscription. When you do, DMM will review the configuration and calculate the number of records for each instruction to verify whether your subscription allows the configuration.
If the subscription supports the instruction, a green message will appear, and you can continue.
Otherwise, you won’t be able to continue. You can only go back to the configuration screen to make the necessary adjustments and then try Validate Subscription again.
On the Validation & Subscription Check screen, you can also choose to Skip Validation. If you do, DMM will allow you to run the instruction.
Before executing the instruction, DMM will still calculate the number of records and verify whether your subscription limits permit the operation. If everything is within the allowed limits, the instruction will run as expected. Otherwise, the instruction will stop, and a popup message will appear indicating that the subscription does not support the instruction.
If the environment doesn’t have internet access, DMM will operate in Offline mode. The validation process follows the same logic as in Online mode.
The main difference is that instead of performing the validation directly within DMM, a page will appear showing a QR code (and a link to the same destination). You can use a device with internet access to scan the QR code or open the provided link to complete the validation.
The QR code redirect page will load and display information about the Subscription Validation. If the subscription supports the instruction configuration, a green message will appear, and a numeric token will also be shown.
To continue the process, return to DMM and enter the token in the Insert Token text box.
If the subscription does not support the configuration, a red message will appear. In DMM, you will need to go back to the configuration and modify it so that it is supported by the subscription.
On the Confirmation Screen, when you click the button to start the instruction in Offline mode, the QR code will appear again. You will need to follow the same process as before.
On the Execution Status page, when the migration finishes (Offline mode only), a popup will appear. This QR code is used to confirm the execution records.
If you close the popup, you can still access it at the bottom of the page in the History table. Locate the instruction, and in the Actions column, click the Update Count button to show the popup again.
When you use the QR code or the link, a page will appear showing the total number of execution records as well as the cumulative total.
