DMM Quality Assurance

DMM Quality Assurance (DMM QA) is a low AO count module for you to deploy in your OutSystems Production environment, or any other OutSystems infrastructure you want to serve as a data source and do not want to install the full DMM module (which has a much higher AO count). 

Since DMM QA has a low number of Application Objects (AOs) it is the best solution to deploy as an endpoint that will be used as the data source by the full DMM (Data Migration Manager) component.

Deploy this DMM Quality Assurance module in your Production environment, in it configure the REST API & authentication key, setup any private entities whose data you don't want to be visible, and you're set to go! 

How to use

1. Install DMM QA module in Production. In it, set up the URL/key for the REST connection API.

2. Install DMM module in Destination. In Management>Settings, create a new Connection of the REST type, using the URL/Key defined in DMM QA.

3. In the Migration feature (for example), select the REST Connection defined in step 2 above as Source, and the Runtime Connection as Destination. Move forward in the wizard to define which apps /modules /entities you want to migrate data, and in the Final Configuration Screen, expand any entity on the list to choose the anonymization type intended for any of the entity fields (you can choose to scramble, anonymize, replace or not to migrate the field).

4. This REST connection can also be used in the Export feature to export to a zip file or to an external database.

  Only the Destination (DMM module) needs to have the subscription key activated (option Management > Online Activation). DMM-QA does not use any subscription activation!
