Japanese 4, 5 & 6

You can find the following for each course:

1. overview (including weekly schedule, explanation of project work, and grading policy),

2. the excerpt of the textbook (you can read one chapter fully out of seven chapters), and

3. a sample of the report to be written as a parf the project work.

Be sure to read the overview, the excerpt from the textbook, and the sample of reports.  If you think that  (1) the tasks in the textbook are too easy to conduct, and (2) you can easily write a report like #3, then your Japanese proficiency may be high enough to learn in the one-level higher course than that course.

3. プロジェクトの成果物（レポートのサンプルや発表スライド）

資料はすべて日本語で書かれています。特に、「概要」はコース開始時の学生の日本語力で読めるように書いてあります。もし、「概要」を読むのが難しい場合には、そのコースよりも下のレベルで学ぶと良いでしょう。

「概要」だけでなく、教材例やプロジェクトの成果物も見てみてください。

また、Japanese 7 や Advanced Seminarのコースでは、すでに日本語でアカデミックなレポートを書いたことがある人を対象としています。日本語でレポート（ Japanese 6 のレポートのサンプル程度）を書いたことがない人は、下のレベルでレポートの書き方を学ぶほうが良いでしょう。

Japanese 7-A & Japanese 7-B

Starting in 2024, “Japanese 7” was split into two courses: "Japanese 7-A" (3 credits) and "Japanese 7-B" (2 credits). 

These two courses can be taken either simultaneously or separately.
