Message to teachers-To all of my teachers I’ve ever had, thank you. The most important things you ever taught me weren't the lessons about the class material, but the lessons about life that you taught. You have changed so many lives with your knowledge and wisdom. But I thank you especially for changing my life. You all have been a great mentor and role model for me. Thank you for having faith in my abilities and having the skills to get me where I needed to go. You’ve shown me the path to success and walked with me along the way. Your expectations in the classroom have helped give me confidence in myself. Thanks so much for all you’ve done. Teachers are our second parents, friends and confidantes. Thank you for guiding us, for inspiring us, for making us what we are today. I am truly happy to say that I attended Shamokin Area High School.
Message to family-Thank you to all my family members for being a part of my journey. When I thought it was impossible, you pushed me to believe in myself. I can’t thank you enough for that. This graduation wouldn’t have been possible without you. Thank you, Mom and Dad for always being there to drive and support me, and thank you to all of my sisters for showing me that anything can be achieved through hard work and dedication.
Message to friends-One of the greatest gifts in life is friendship and I have received it. Thank you for all of the laughs and memories we’ve shared.
What has this experience taught you? My most valuable school experiences weren't academic. They were all about people—social skills, respect, self-worth, empathy, and realizing your own potential.
