The reduced VEGAS data, which are not public on the ESO Science Archive, must be approved by the PI and core team members for publication in any form (e.g., science papers, and/or media).
The policy for publications of VEGAS papers, and papers based on the SUNRISE proprietary data/tools, is described below.
AUTHORS
We have identified two groups of co-authors:
core team (CT): co-Is who gave a direct and deep contribution to the birth of the project, actively contributed to the development of data reduction and dedicated tools for analysis;
contributors (C): co-Is who gave a contribution in one of the WP or a sub-project.
The updated list of the core team members and contributors is reported here. The list of contributors might change in due course since there is always the possibility to invite external collaborators on specific projects/papers or to add new contributors to the VEGAS Team.
POLICY
The core team is always invited to sign all papers based on the VEGAS data until the project is completed and all “products” are released.
Contributors will be invited by the leader of each project to join the work and sign a specific paper.
AUTHOR’s LIST
For each paper based on the VEGAS project, the author’s list should respect the following order:
leading contributors
substantial contribution to the analysis/results (in alphabetic order)
contribution to the text/layout of the papers (in alphabetic order)
