Secondary school teachers are invited to apply for SPRITZ 2026 (STEAM Practices for Italian Teacherz), a free hands-on professional development course taking place at the INAF headquarters in Bologna, Italy, from 11–13 September 2026.
Organized by NAEC Italy, the IAU Office of Astronomy for Education Center Italy, and INAF, with the support of the Italian Astronomical Society (SAIT), the course focuses on innovative teaching approaches such as Game-Based Learning (GBL), Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL), and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
Participants will engage in workshops and practical activities, receive free educational materials, and be supported throughout the 2026/2027 school year as they implement astronomy and STEAM activities in their classrooms.
