Written by Kamahaʻo Haumea-Thronas and the haumāna of Kula Manu in the Summer of 2024, this oli represents the jouney that haumāna take while in the club. It uses kaona, a type of double meaning, to let the haumāna become the manu, or birds, on this journey as they take a bigger step into our history of featherwork in Hawaiʻi.
This online booklet is a collection of mele, oli, and pule put together by our club cultural advisor. It features songs, chants, and prayers used by the club. The online link provides us with lyrics and audio for each of the protocol items.
