Our club members had a wonderful time connecting with Kamehameha faculty, alumni, and students while fundraising for our 2024 summer trip to Boston. A special thanks to Kamalei Dwight for her incredible stained glass artwork, and to Kamahaʻo and Bella for designing the beautiful Kula Manu tote bags. We truly appreciate everyone who stopped by to support us and our journey to perpetuate our Hawaiian culture.
Kula Manu is proud to highlight the incredible talents of our club members, who exemplify the E Ola! learner outcome of innovation and creativity in every aspect of their work. These students continuously push the boundaries of their abilities, finding new ways to blend traditional Hawaiian values with modern artistry. Through their efforts, they embody what it means to be industrious and good stewards of their education at Kamehameha Schools.
Our board member, Kamalei Dwight, demonstrates an innovative approach to preserving and sharing Hawaiian culture through a unique medium. Alongside her, members Kamahaʻo and Bella channel their creativity into designing beautiful tote bags that resonate with our cultural identity.
Club members exemplify what it means to be engaged, hardworking learners and leaders. Their creativity goes beyond showcasing their skill, but, it represents our dedication to upholding the values of Kamehameha Schools and inspiring future generations to innovate while remaining rooted to our Hawaiian culture.
