While there are events and activities for every age happening here at Immanuel all the time, there are several special events that take place annually. For full details on these events be sure to subscribe to our weekly newsletter. Please Note: We apologize but our Facebook page is currently undergoing reconstruction, and we plan to have it back up soon.
TRUNK OR TREAT
Looking for a safe and fun alternative to door-to-door trick or treating? Come join us the Saturday prior to Halloween from 4-5:30 PM for TRUNK OR TREAT! Parishioners decorate their vehicles in fun and festive themes, and participants can enjoy free games and activities. This is a rain or shine event, and all are welcome to attend.
STEAK & OYSTER ROAST
Our annual Steak & Oyster Roast takes place the Saturday prior to Halloween in the Parish House. Come and enjoy a great time of fellowship with many neighbors and friends from the Old Church community and beyond! Tickets are required for this event and it starts at 6 PM.
FISH FRY
During the season of Lent we host an annual Fish Fry here in the Parish House. This is another opportunity to enjoy really great food and fellowship. Stay tuned to our church facebook page to learn more about this year’s event.
GARDEN FAIR
This “can’t miss” event takes place every spring here at Immanuel. Attendees will not only get to shop for great deals on a large variety of plants and baked goods, but will also enjoy live music, homemade BBQ, historic church tours, children's activities and much more!
SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE AND HOPE DURING ADVENT
We appreciate that the Advent and Christmas Seasons are not seasons of joy for everyone. Therefore, the goal of this candlelight service is to provide dedicated time and space for calm remembrance, reflection, and peace. Parishioners will be invited to consider any pain, loss, or troubles in their lives or the lives of someone close to them that they may face and offer them to God for healing and transformation. We pray that this contemplative service, offered amid the busy season, will help you find comfort and hope knowing that you are not alone. Join us the third Wednesday in Advent.
