Summer work:

Please remember to turn in your completed math workbook and book report on the first day of school.

Please check our class homepage weekly at   www.immacolataschool.org.  I will post homework, important dates, and an overview of the week.

Homework:

· Is given every night but Friday

· Students will fill out assignment book (I will have assignment books in the classroom for sale during backpack Sunday and the first day of school.)

· Late work will result in an H marked on their calendars.

·         Math – workbook page or practice page

·         Spelling –assignments due every Thursday

·         Reading – book report due at the end of each month

·         Wordly wise-  weekly assignments due on Wednesday

·         Other homework may be given during the week

Test:

· Spelling test is given each Thursday

· Wordly Wise test is given on Wednesday

·Science, Social Studies, Religion, and Math test are given at the end of each chapter. 

Friday Folders:

· All graded work will be sent home on Fridays

· Parents must sign calendar

· Friday folders with signed calendar are due back on Wednesday. 

 Homework passes:

• Are only good for ONE assignment and must be pre-approved by teacher

• May not be used on  study guides, book reports, or any other projects/reports

Birthdays:

Students may celebrate their birthdays during the school year.  If they have a summer birthday we will celebrate on their half birthday.  Students may have free dress on their birthday and their names will be announced during morning announcements.  If their birthday lands on the weekend they may choose to have free dress either on Friday or Monday.
