Book Reports
Book Report Requirements
Reports must be done on loose leaf paper, in pen, or typed.
Books chosen must be at least 100 pages, or approved by Mrs. Frisch.
Reports must include all required information noted below.
There should be no spelling, grammar, or punctuation mistakes.
Reports are always due on the last school day of the month.
How to write your book reports:
Paragraph 1: 4- 6 sentences with the title, author, setting, and description of main characters.
Paragraph 2: 7-9 sentences explaining the plot of the story.
Paragraph 3: 3-5 sentences explaining why or why you would not recommend the book to a friend.
The book report needs to be in your best handwriting (you can skip lines), or you may type it.
Book Report Themes
Students will be required to choose a book to read and complete a monthly book report based on a different theme each month. This book should be at school with the student each day so it can be read during quiet reading time. If the student finishes their book and/or report before the end of the month, another book of the student's choice should be brought to school for quiet reading time.

Feb.....Biography/Autobiography
Mar.....Historical Fiction
Apr.....Animal
