Canvas
Our science department will be using CANVAS as our LMS. Please log in every day as this is your one-stop-shop for all things science.
Nightly Homework:
Students have nightly homework! Students should be completing any work not finished during the provided class time and completing the assigned Canvas work. On the canvas calendar, you will see information regarding the daily activities of the class. Students and parents can use this information to check on the daily work or if a student is absent. Students and parents can check grades on Canvas or Powerschool to see scores on assignments once they have been graded.

Google Calendar
Here is the 7th-grade general calendar which lists daily activities and does not require a log-in. PARENTS this is a great way for YOU to know what we are doing on a daily basis and to be able to ask your student to show you what they did in theIr notebook. STUDENTS: This does NOT have the specifics for each assignment., log in and check Canvas for the specifics. Your Canvas calendar will have all your due dates and active links. You can subscribe to your canvas calendar and add it to your personal Google calendars so that you never miss an assignment. There is a helpful job-aid in canvas that will walk you through the steps.
