Monday, April 20th --> Students will go over vocab words for this week and copy them down in their journals. Then intro into external structures of animals & how they help animals survive.
Tuesday, April 21st--> Students will start on their trifold project by researching and presenting how an animal’s external structures help it survive in its environment. Students identified key body structures, explained their functions, and showed how these adaptations help the animal meet its basic needs for survival.
Wednesday, April 22nd --> Students will continue on their on their trifold project by researching and presenting how an animal’s external structures help it survive in its environment. Students identified key body structures, explained their functions, and showed how these adaptations help the animal meet its basic needs for survival.
Thursday, April 23rd --> Students will explain how reindeer survive in the tundra.
Friday, April 24th --> Students will review then take a quiz over TEKS 3.13A, demonstrating their understanding of how external structures and functions of animals help them survive in their environment. The assessment covered identifying animal body structures, explaining their functions, and comparing how different adaptations help animals live in specific habitats.
