Several of our virtual public programs will be offered for 1 CPDU hour. During the program, you will be asked to complete the ISBE evaluation form in order to receive CPDU hours. Without the completed evaluation, you cannot receive CPDU hours. Your attendance is recorded by Zoom and you must attend for at least 50 minutes to receive 1 hour. Past programs are recorded and found on the Museum's YouTube Channel.

1.5 hours of CPDU
Explore the shared history of 12 contemporary Native characters that come together at the Big Oakland Powwow. The story interweaves a variety of Native voices that shed light into the complex history of urban Native communities. The story details love, pain, trauma, culture and the complexities of Native identity. Readers will gain insight into the trauma and history of relocation and removal while learning more about contemporary issues facing urban Native peoples.
