Ogle Jolly 4-H Club meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Please contact Ashley at 815-218-1694 for more information.
Ogle Jolly 4-H Club is one of the oldest clubs in Ogle County, chartered in 1949
Ogle Jolly had a very busy December including Cardinal Christmas and our club Christmas party. Cardinal Christmas was December 7th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in Stillman Valley, IL. Cardinal Christmas includes Christmas tree lighting, horse drawn carriages, Santa Clause, the Grinch, games, fireworks, and much more! Our club represented us at Cardinal Christmas by decorating our tree with festive pine cone farm animal ornaments and even making a display field of corn which was made of pipe cleaners and beads. Our tree theme demonstrated how our club is rooted in tradition and growing with a purpose.
On December 15th, we had our club Christmas party that included pizza, salad, pop, and cookies to celebrate this holiday season together as a club. We celebrated everyone's participation and contribution to our club with awards. We awarded Kaitlyn Adams with the Wayne Danekas Jr. Memorial award on a brand new plaque! Not knowing that the very first Wayne Danekas Jr. Memorial award was awarded to Kaitlyn's very own Grandmother who was also first on that first plaque! Our next meeting will be January 19, 2026 at the Red Brick Church in Stillman Valley, IL at 6:30-7:30 p.m. If you would like to learn more about the Ogle Jolly 4-H club please contact Ashley Clark at 815-218-1694.
